About the EICF Conference 2024: Investment Casting On the Way To Sustainability

1. Knowledge The pursuit of knowledge is an endless journey, akin to the ethos of continuous improvement. Yet, sourcing specific knowledge can often prove challenging, as relevant information may be scattered across various platforms. This is where the EICF Conference steps in, serving as a focal point for professionals in the investment casting industry. With a strategic theme of “Sustainability” for 2024, the conference aligns with the UN Global Sustainable Development Goals, providing a framework for advancing societal and environmental well-being. But formulating or adopting some goals is not enough.


It is necessary to understand the implications, set up the priorities and build up a mid term strategy to be implemented via annual specific plans The conference offers a platform for updating and


contrasting knowledge through keynote presentations, case studies, and technical discussions. This year’s theme presents an opportunity to identify best practices in circular economy principles, essential for enhancing competitiveness within the industry. The Technical Sessions will be presented in two parallel


conference tracks, grouped by sub themes. In this sense there are 9 different Technical Sessions, totalizing 27 presentations, grouped as:

Those are the so called “EICF Video Conference


Proceedings”, an element of benefit attending an EICF Conference. All delegates receive some weeks after the Conference a link to a special Web Site where the recorded presentations are available to watch and even disseminate with your colleagues that could not attend the Conference.


2. Market Review Another integral aspect of the conference is the Market Session, which provides a forum for reviewing the status and evolution of the investment casting market across different geographical areas. This session offers invaluable insights into market trends and dynamics, serving as a crucial input for strategic reviews within IC-related companies.
