The initiative will be applicable
across the aviation industry, including airlines, corporate flight departments and support companies such as fuel providers. The Training team consistently
heard that trainers at all levels of aviation have so many technological, regulatory and procedural revisions and updates demanding their attention that it’s challenging for them to keep up with the many advances within their core training profession itself. According to Mike Murrell,
president of Lakewood Media Group, leaders in aviation have suggested that their trainers need to maintain proficiency in their profession in such areas as E-learning content development, video productions, data collection and analysis tools, mobile
delivery platforms, performance support tools, modern authoring and distribution of instructor/participant guide and simulation (other than flight simulators). Training’s 2020 Conference offers presentations by leaders in these disciplines, plus more that could benefit trainers – and their employers’ bottom lines – in the aviation industry. The conference’s keynote speaker is Jeff Skiles, co-pilot of the “Miracle on the Hudson.” In addition to a full palette of “train-the-trainer” courses, the Training Conference is offering its single largest registration discount ever ($400) through Jan 31, 2020, to trainers employed full-time at companies in aviation including FAA Part 121 airlines, corporate flight departments, FAA Park 135 air charter providers, maintenance
