Tell us about your brand. Carnival Cruise Line was founded in
1972 and carries in excess of 5.5 million passengers every year on 26 ships, including Carnival Horizon, which debuted in April 2018.
What’s coming up in 2019? Our eight Fun Ambassadors will be
representing UK travel agents and finding out what you want to see from Carnival. In March, Carnival Triumph will enter a two- month dry dock for a $200 million-dollar makeover. It will re-emerge as Carnival Sunrise, sailing from New York throughout the summer. This year also sees the launch of Carnival Panorama, which will commence its inaugural season in December from our new cruise terminal at Long Beach. Radiance and sailing four nine to 12-day itineraries round-trip from Barcelona from April. Carnival Legend will join Carnival Radiance in Europe in June 2020, starting with a 16-day New York to Dover crossing followed by a nine-night Norwegian Fjords itinerary round-trip from Dover and a nine- night sailing from Dover to Barcelona. It will then embark on nine to 12-day sailings between Barcelona and Venice.

What might agents not know about you? In 2020, Carnival will launch the newest
class of ship, called Mardi Gras after its first ship. It will have the world’s first rollercoaster at sea!

Know your ships inside out, the best cabin locations and the differences between categories.
Understand your client and their needs, then pitch the right product and talk about the onboard features or destinations that will get them excited. For example, if it’s a family, let them know about the kids’ clubs, the only Imax at sea and SkyCourse. If it’s a couple, talk about Serenity Adults Only Retreat, the bar and dining options, casino and shops.
