that in mind, we’ve gone back to basics by answering commonly asked questions and chatting to agents who have recently joined the sector about their experiences at different homeworking agencies.
Taking that a step further, we also speak to agents who have turned their passions into specialist areas of expertise, as focusing on a niche becomes a bigger factor in many people’s success stories.
While Covid-19 was not the start of homeworking it certainly was a catalyst, and five years on, this thriving sector hasn’t looked back. One of the reasons behind the continued rise of homeworking agents is how the role evolves with the demands of the market, like adapting to an increasingly digitally-driven future. We find out how companies are providing frontline sellers with more tech-savvy tools, as well as offline support such as mentoring and networking with others in their organisations.
Whether you’re new to travel or are looking to use your industry experience to make the switch to homeworking, we hope this guide proves a useful snapshot of the sector.
