Vote Your questions
Not sure what to wear or how to vote? Here’s all you need to know before the big night…
How do I cast my votes in the Globe Travel Awards? It’s simple – just visit the dedicated site at
globetravelawards.co.uk and cast your votes online. Voting closes on December 5, so make sure to have your say by then.
How do I nominate someone for one of the Special Awards? While it’s too late to nominate a deserving company or valued colleague for January’s five Special Awards, why not consider putting them forward next year? Nominations open in September 2026.
How do I get my tickets? Just head to
globetravelawards.co.uk and follow the links to ‘Book your table’ to fill out the online form. You can pay by credit card or, if you’re buying on behalf of a company, you can request an invoice if you’d rather sort the payment by cheque or bank transfer.
What does ‘black tie’ mean? It’s your chance to go all-out. Gentlemen, think tuxedo or smart dinner jacket, bow tie and shiny shoes. Ladies, anything from a floor-length gown to an elegant cocktail dress or statement jumpsuit will do the trick. Sparkle encouraged, trainers discouraged.
How do I get there? The Globes is held each year at the
How do I get into the venue? You’ll need to show your Globes ticket, either in printed form or downloaded on to your mobile phone.
What time should I arrive? The evening starts with a welcome drinks reception from 6pm. The awards ceremony and dinner start at 6.45pm on the dot, followed by the after-party, which runs until 1am.
JW Marriott Grosvenor House hotel at 86-90 Park Lane, London, W1K 7TN. Ask cab drivers to drop you off at the Great Room entrance. The nearest Tube stations are Marble Arch, Bond Street and Hyde Park Corner, while Paddington, Marylebone and Victoria national rail stations are each about a half-hour walk away.
Can I park at the venue? Not at the venue, but NCP Old Park Lane and Audley Square plus Q-Park Park Lane are available for parking nearby.
When will I get my tickets and guest list form? The guest list form will be sent to the booking contact immediately, with e-tickets arriving about two weeks before the event. Then, 24 hours ahead of the event, final guest details will be circulated and will be on display at the venue.
Are there alcohol-free drinks? Definitely. As well as the usual fizz and wine, there will be low and no-alcohol options, plus plenty of soft drinks available from the bar. Just ask your waiter or the bar team.
Is there an after-party? Absolutely! When the formalities are done, the music is turned up and the dance floor fills. Expect a fitting celebration – it wouldn’t be the Globes without it.
I won’t be able to attend – how can I stay up to date with all the action on the night? You’ll be able to follow all the fun on our Facebook Live and Instagram Stories, which announce each winner. You can also sign up to our business:am newsletter (at
travelweekly.co.uk/subscribe) to find out the winners the next morning. Plus, to see pictures from the night, look out for the January 22 and 29 issues of Travel Weekly.
