Q. What did you enjoy most? A. My favourite part of the cruise was waking up, opening the curtains and just seeing the sea everywhere. I’ve never seen a view like that in my life. At night-time, it was beautiful because it was completely pitch black. I thought I’d find that intimidating, but it was liberating, with no lights, noise or pollution – just the sky above you.
Q. How did it compare with your daily routine? A. When I’m working in London, I’m usually up at 5.30am with a strong cup of coffee. Even when I’m on holiday, I like to plan my day from start to finish, and rarely have a lie-in!
Q. How many outfits did you take with you, and did you get people asking for style advice? A. I took 25 outfits – don’t judge me! People didn’t really ask me for style advice, they were more interested in my story. I had a lot of chats that, strangely, didn’t revolve around fashion.
Q. Where else would you like to cruise to? A. Asia is my favourite continent. I love the food and the people, so it would be great to cruise around there and end up in Japan for a land holiday – I’m desperate to go there. I’d also like to cruise around Australia, and I’ve still never been to the Caribbean.
