Landal GreenParks to double UK resorts to 10 by next year

Luxury back-to-nature brand Landal GreenParks plans to double the number of UK parks to 10 by the end of 2020. Te company has reported


growth of more than 200% in bookings, revenue and capacity in the last two years. Tis year, the business, which


has 88 park locations across Europe, has enjoyed a 23% increase in bookings and a record Easter.


Paul Hardingham, managing


director at Landal GreenParks UK, said: “When we brought the concept to the UK we were confident it would appeal to British holidaymakers, as there wasn’t anything offering the same experience, but we’ve been astounded by the popularity of the five locations.” Hardingham revealed plans to


reach 10 resorts in the UK by the end of next year. Te first two parks were launched in the UK in 2017.


He said: “Te next stage for us is


to add more resorts within the UK to build on our successes. We have new location launches planned for this year and more in the pipeline for 2020.” Henrik Kjellberg, group chief


executive of parent company Awaze, added: “Te development of Landal GreenParks in the UK has been identified as a key area of growth for the group. Te brand has been a real success in mainland Europe, and we are confident that
