We are recruiting across Kent & East Sussex. You’ll work in one of our retail travel agencies, advising on and selling holidays to our fantastic customers. Travel industry experience is highly desirable, as well as key experience in sales and of course, customer service. Most importantly is your passion for travel, a willingness to get involved and an engaging personality. We have a reputation for our excellent customer service and it’s critical to us that you share that value.


In return, we offer a competitive pay package alongside the opportunity to join a friendly and fantastic team. This role involves working 9am – 5.30pm including working Saturdays on a rota.

TRADE MARKETING EXECUTIVE


About the role: This is a great opportunity for the right individual to join SLC as we expand our business. In this role as travel trade and marketing executive you will have travel industry experience, be experienced in managing accounts and managing key stakeholders and be motivated and to help us deliver growth for our clients.


Key tasks and responsibilities: O Educate the travel trade through training sessions and regular meetings on the destination and clients you represent


O Plan, manage operations and recruit attendees for events. O Manage in-market client visits and trade shows. O Build and manage relationships with key partners of the travel industry O Work alongside great team members to deliver varied projects including co-op marketing campaigns with trade and airline partners


O Maintain and grow a database of engaged agents, communicating with them regularly via e-newsletters


O Arrange and manage familiarisation trips taking responsibility for the execution from ÃÌ>ÀÌ Ìo wniÃh


O Manage key stakeholder relationships O Provide robust reporting and recommendations from activity


Salary range Up to £30,000: actual salary will be based on skills and experience.
