New airfares system launched by WTC
A flight-booking platform “designed by travel agents for travel agents” has been launched by consolidator World Travel Centre (WTC). Fareteam is available to agents in the UK and Ireland, where WTC is based. Its Agent Booking Tool offers access to thousands of fares “bookable at the click of a button”. Both GDS and NDC fares are available.

unveiled a new-look logo (below) as it outlined a new vision focused on empowering communities, protecting the planet and creating more-equitable travel experiences. Trips have a renewed focus
on wildlife and environmental conservation, disability support, preservation of indigenous and minority cultural traditions, gender equality and empowerment, as well as skills training and education. Intrepid offers 880 multi-day
tours, 200 of which have been introduced since March 2020. Trips have been launched in more than 50 countries and include more walking tours, a collection of Premium adventures and domestic tours in key source markets such as the UK. The company recently
acquired Auckland-based Haka Tours, offering trips with a focus on authentic cultural experiences.

Two experienced travel industry professionals made redundant during the pandemic have joined forces to set up their own tour operation. Jitesh Hirani and Rajeev Manral have set up
Novaturient Tours & Travel, a tailor-made operator offering trips to India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, Oman, the Maldives, Seychelles, Mauritius, Jordan and Dubai. Te pair, who worked together for 17 years at
operator Indus Experiences prior to being made redundant in December, decided to combine their experience to set up Novaturient, which means ‘to seek powerful change in one’s life or situation’. Hirani was a director of the company and looked
aſter its corporate division, while Manral was tours manager and put together itineraries for the trade. Te Atol-bonded operator, set up under the banner
of Protected Trust Services, will offer leisure and corporate travel and plans to work closely with agents.
Riviera Travel unveils nine-day tour of Canada’s Rocky Mountains for 2023
Riviera Travel has introduced a nine-day group tour, Canada’s Rocky Mountaineer, for 2023, with the option of a seven-night Alaskan cruise add-on aboard Holland America ship Koningsdam. The tour features two days on the Rocky Mountaineer, trips to Lake Louise, Peyto Lake and Athabasca Glacier, and a ride on the SnowCoach. The optional cruise visits Glacier Bay National Park.

Wendy Wu Tours adds 2022 dates
for its Spirit of Scotland itinerary Wendy Wu Tours has increased departures to Scotland. The operator has extra 2022 spring, summer and autumn dates for its Spirit of Scotland itinerary. A nine- day Christmas trip departing December 19, including a private tour of Edinburgh Castle and VIP Christmas Eve tickets to The Nutcracker, has been added and costs from £2,615. Fam trips are also planned.
