Trafalgar offers 10 tours in debut Africa brochure

Trafalgar is selling a dedicated programme to Africa for the first time.


Its debut Africa brochure


features 10 guided tours in nine countries. It has been put together using the expertise of the Tollman family, who founded parent group The Travel Corporation and are themselves from South Africa. The move follows the group’s decision to buy the South African tourism and leisure group Cullinan Holdings, which owns inbound and outbound tour operators and travel agencies, in March. It was previously a majority shareholder. Chief executive Gavin Tollman


said: “We had to be careful [previously] not to have any conflict [with Cullinan companies]. “But after 72 years of waiting,

Vietnam extends visa exemption for UK citizens


A visa exemption for UK passport-holders travelling to Vietnam has been extended for three years. The agreement covers single-entry stays of up to 15 days and runs until July 30, 2021.
