1. CHOCS AWAY: Tina Rayment, of Westway Travel in Wickford, Essex, receives a Cadbury chocolate hamper from Elite Island Resorts’ Darren Hall. Rayment won a spot the difference competition in two pictures of Pineapple Beach Club resort, Antigua, in a Travel Weekly competition.
2. VEGAS, BABY!: Beverley Kerr, from Balham-based Travel Designers, welcomes Adam Reeves, from luxury hotel group Caesars Entertainment, ahead of the agency’s breakfast meeting where sales staff learned about Las Vegas.
3. AGENCY OF THE MONTH: Shearings Holidays’ Claire Dutton (second right) names Midcounties Co-op Travel’s Solihull agency as its branch of the month for February as part of an incentive based on sales and promotional activities. The team won chocolates and other goodies. Dutton is pictured with agency staff Louise Devall, Lynsey Prestleton, and Natalie Turner.
4. GOING FOR GOLD: Kirsty McBride (left), from The Holiday Consultants in Allestree, Derby, is presented with her favourite tipple and chocolates by Gold Medal’s Carmen Moreira after booking two holidays to the Maldives, worth £75,000.
5. BACK TO SCHOOL: Alice Hye (second left), from UK tour operator AC Group, returns to her old school, Langley Park School for Girls in Beckenham, Kent. She spoke to students in year 10 and 11 who are studying for a Btec Tech Award in Travel and Tourism. Rob Russell, joint chief executive of AC Travel Group, also attended.
