Travel Counsellors agents will receive videos of disabled brand ambassador Nadia Clarke’s trip to Dubai to spread the message about accessible destinations. Cerebral palsy sufferer Clarke, who uses a wheelchair
and a communication aid to speak, named Dubai her top accessible destination following her Travel Counsellors-funded trip, part of a wider programme on accessible travel by the homeworking agency. Agents will be able to feature the video of her trip on
their digital platforms so clients can see for themselves how to travel with a disability in the destination. Travel Counsellors also plans a dedicated
accessible travel-themed webcast on its inhouse TV channel TCTV next week.

Ridgeon to succeed Evans at Fred Olsen Cruise Lines Fred Olsen
Cruise Lines has appointed Geoff Ridgeon (pictured) as head of sales,
replacing retiring Mike Evans who has spent 27 years at the line. Ridgeon, currently head of cruise at Fred Olsen Travel, takes up his new role on May 7, reporting to sales and marketing director Justin Stanton.
