Discover the pearls of Ajman Experience the emirate’s natural beauty

Ajman is an exciting new tourism destination in the UAE. Located just 30 minutes from Dubai International Airport, the emirate is bursting with natural beaches, lush mangroves, activities and sports, and much more. Ajman’s great value for money, small size and range of accommodation options make it ideal for visitors looking to discover a new destination in the Middle East.

Ajman’s unique wildlife and natural beauty help set it apart from other destinations in the region. The Al Zorah nature reserve is a must-see, boasting 250 acres of mangrove forest. Among the nearly 60 species of birds that visitors can spot in the reserve is the renowned and popular pink flamingo.

The best way to explore Al Zorah’s lagoons and creeks is by kayak or canoe. Guided tours last about two hours, and there are even night tours available, for the chance to experience the mangroves’ beauty by moonlight.

Ajman’s charm extends all the way to the coast, with stunning beaches stretching along the Arabian Gulf. The beaches are all natural, with soft white sand and clear waters, and are the perfect place to relax and take in the incredible views.

Stay in Ajman

Ajman is home to a number of luxurious hotels for your customers to choose from.

The Oberoi Beach Resort Al Zorah is a five-star property right on the doorstep of the lush mangrove forests, as well as the beautiful Gulf coast. There are a number of accommodation options, with rooms, suites and villas to choose from. The hotel also has two fine- dining restaurants, a poolside lounge and two bars for guests to relax in.

Just across the harbour is the Ajman Saray, A Luxury Collection Resort. This beachfront hotel has an Arabic restaurant and another serving seafood and pan-Asian cuisine, as well as a cocktail bar, beach bar and more. There are also two pools, one for children, both steps away from a private beach.

THE PEARLS OF AJMAN

Ajman is known for its pearls, and pearl diving was once a booming industry across the UAE. Visitors today can join an educational pearl dhow cruise.

Did you know? There is a one-in-1,000 chance of finding a pearl inside a shell.
