Top-selling agents from Spear Travels, Hays Travel and Camberley Travel are among those to pose against the sunset on the tiny Ionian island of Paxos during a week-long Sunvil fam trip to mainland Greece, Corfu and the lesser-known Ionian islands. Activities included a boat ride to Meganisi and visits to villages such as Karia in Lefkas, known for its lace-making heritage 2. Lynsey England, of Wallace Arnold Travel in Wakefield, Yorkshire, welcomes Shearings Holidays’ Michael Bowers, who showed her and her team the operator’s new 2020 Worldwide brochure, which features 42 tours across 24 countries 3. Thomas Cook agent Lauren Clements-Cook scoops three prizes in a draw at Tipto’s roadshow in Swindon. Clements-Cook, who works in Cook’s Swindon branch, won a Tipto goodie bag, a gin-tasting kit and a five-night stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya, courtesy of RCD Hotels. Clements-Cook receives her prize from RCD Hotels’ Graham Brooks 4. The Slovenian Tourist Board and British Airways host agents and trade partners at an event at the National Liberal Club in Whitehall, London, to celebrate the start of the airline’s direct service from Heathrow to Ljubljana. The route will operate from July 15 until September 2, with a flight time of two hours and 20 minutes
