Baldwins Travel owner Inc & Co is poised to open its first ‘Campus’ retail concept with a major shopping centre in the UK. The Campus will be a mix of
office space, retail units, food and drink outlets and entertainment, and Inc & Co expects to open in a further 10 shopping centres in 18 months. Baldwins Travel agencies are
expected to feature in two-thirds rather than all of the locations due to restrictions involving the presence of existing travel stores. Inc & Co chief executive Jack
Mason said he was in talks with 15 shopping centre landlords and councils, including in Oxford. “There are a lot of grants available
to re-energise the high street and councils are looking for specific concepts,” he said. “A lot seem to love ours. They think it mitigates risk by having lots of concepts in one.” Inc & Co is also looking to open
pop-up Baldwins stores outside Kent and Sussex, where the miniple currently operates eight branches, and is targeting Essex, Reading, Kingston, Manchester, Leeds and

six to seven months’ time, but it was yet to be decided whether the online business will take the Baldwins name or use different branding. When Inc & Co acquired
