WHERE’S WENDY?
I am so pleased to again be hosting this column, and feeling very positive about a year which is already seeing restrictions lifted and more consumer confidence in travel. At HAL, we’re looking forward to all of our beautiful
ships returning to service this spring – six of them in Alaska and four in Europe! Our officers and crew are really looking forward to welcoming guests on board. 2022 is going to be a year of incredible milestones
for our brand. As many of you know(!), 2021 was my 25th year with HAL and I remember the purchase of our beautiful private island, Half Moon Cay in 1997 and visiting on a HAL cruise myself that year. It’s hard to believe that we are already celebrating a quarter century of owning this little piece of paradise – included on all Caribbean itineraries! More
anniversaries in 2022 include our 75th year in Alaska, and the start of our 150th year celebrations. I’ll focus on each of these separately in my next three columns. For now, our focus is our ‘Have it All+’ campaign
QHalf Moon Cay
which offers exceptional value for guests booking by February 28 – free stateroom upgrades, free air on Europe cruises and elements such as included drinks, free excursion(s) and more which make HAL almost all-inclusive. We’ve also extended our Worry-Free Promise,
allowing guests booking by March 31 to do so with confidence, knowing that if they have to cancel up to 30 days before sailing, they may receive a future cruise credit in the value of any cancellation fees normally incurred. I’d like to wish all of you a very happy and
prosperous 2022.
