Riviera reveals new five-day tours of northeast England and Scotland
Riviera Travel has expanded its 2022 UK programme with two new itineraries exploring northeast England and Scotland. Five departures of each tour
will operate between May and October, adding to the 100-plus domestic trips the escorted tours and river cruise specialist runs between March and December. The five-day Northumbrian
Coast, Durham and Lindisfarne itinerary includes guided tours of Alnwick Castle and Durham Cathedral and four nights’ half- board at the four-star Doxford Hall Hotel. Prices start at £849. The five-day Edinburgh, St
Andrews and the Royal Yacht Britannia tour includes four nights’ B&B at the four-star
Mercure Edinburgh Haymarket Hotel, a guided tour of Edinburgh, visits to St Andrews, the Royal Yacht Britannia, Stirling Castle and a whisky distillery, and a cruise on Loch Katrine. It costs from £599. Joanne Lynn, head of European
