Comtec owner Inspiretec opens office in Toronto


Inspiretec Group has opened an office in Toronto. The group, which saw turnover double to £8.3 million in 2017, was created by bringing together four digital and travel tech companies including Comtec, the widely- used operator booking system.

Newmarket shifts on to Tigerbay online platform

Newmarket Holidays has completed the first phase of implementing new reservation technology.


The independent operator


has opted to move onto a travel e-commerce platform created by Tigerbay, the Cardiff-based developer owned by Atcore. The Tigerbay technology


replaces Newmarket’s old in- house reservation system and will also power the operator’s B2C, B2B and third-party affiliate sites. Newmarket Holidays said


its requirements from the new technology centred around needing an “integrated, intuitive solution that would help streamline and improve efficiencies across its business”. Simon Hibbs, managing director
