‘We’ve been here since the start!’: Funway duo Souto and Davies clock up 25 years too
As well as Funway celebrating 25 years, two of its staff are also marking a quarter of a century with the business.
Charlotte Souto, who works in
the after-sales department, has been with Funway since it opened its doors on February 25, 1993, while Malcolm Davies, product destination manager, has been with the business since October 1993. Souto said:
“From starting out as a small team the company has
grown tremendously. We have faced many challenges along the way, but through determination, hard work and amazing staff, Funway is bigger and better than ever. I hope to remain part of the ‘Funway family’ for years to come.” Davies said: “The team and work ethos have enabled us to ride out the many challenges

Funway Holidays is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year with special incentives and events for the trade.
The trade-only operator will give
away 25 fam trip places as prizes as part of the anniversary and will give five agents £250 through its
MoneyCard loyalty scheme. It is also planning an anniversary and post-peaks dinner for a select group of agents in March. Funway is offering deposits of
£25, the lowest level in its history and one of the lowest in the market, for bookings made this month. The £25 rate is available mainly across single-centre trips to the US and the Caribbean. Traditionally, low deposits have
