G Adventures adds fifth yacht

G Adventures is adding a fifth yacht to its Galapagos Islands fleet.


The 16-passenger Eden will


operate six Galapagos itineraries, ranging from seven to 17 days, from January 2019. It will have three twin-share cabins with bunk beds on the upper deck, one double bed cabin on the main deck and four twin- share cabins on the lower deck. The yacht also has a two-level


wraparound deck with an outdoor lounge area and sun deck, as well as a dining room and living room. The seven-day Galapagos –

North & Central Islands Aboard The Eden itinerary, departing on August 24, 2019, starts from £2,079, excluding flights. The 17-day Complete Galapagos


– Eden itinerary, departing on May 4, 2019, from Quito, leads in at £5,579. Ports of call include Baltra


Island, Genovesa Island, Bartolome Island and Puerto Baquerizo Moreno. Brian Young, managing director


of G Adventures, said: “We are continuing to see increased demand from our travellers looking to experience the Galapagos Islands and the addition of Eden enables us to meet this demand.” The yacht, which will accommodate nine crew members, was built in 1996 and refurbished in 2012, but will enter dry dock this autumn for further upgrades and G Adventures branding. Star Clippers unveils new Borneo and Greek island sailings


Star Clippers has released its 2019-20 programme featuring Borneo for the first time and a new Greek island itinerary. Prices for the 11-night sailing
