Agents and agencies react after wins including in two new Best Agency to Work For categories AAAs laud Barrhead and Triangle Robin Murray
Two agencies were recognised for their support for employees in a new accolade at this year’s Agent Achievement Awards. Barrhead Travel was crowned
the Best Large Agency to Work For, while Triangle Travel was named Best Small Agency to Work For. It was Barrhead’s fourth award on
what was a memorable night for the Scottish group. It was also named Best Large
Agency in Scotland, while Carol- Ann Jones, head of human resources and employee wellbeing, won the Mental Health Matters Award and Chris Cooper was crowned Leisure Manager of the Year. “It’s an amazing surprise for us to win four awards tonight, and this one

of Triangle Travel, said: “When the pandemic started, we realised we weren’t doing what we should be doing to support our staff, so we overhauled everything. “We asked staff if they were
suffering. I was open with them for the first time in my life, because I could feel they were suffering. “We took it to the next stage
and got help. We became a family business.” The six-branch agency, which has

business and we’ve put initiatives in place to support them. We always celebrate at Barrhead, but we’ll definitely make sure we celebrate tonight properly.
