Nassau Paadise Island
VIP Fam Trip 2017
Atlantis Paadise Island
Next on our adventure is the famous Atlantis Paradise Island. The unparalleled resort destination is a non-stop playground for all ages. The centrepiece is the141-acre waterscape, with thrilling slides and pools and home to the world’s largest open-air marine habitat with over 50,000 animals from 250 species and the rescued Hurricane Katrina dolphins. Atlantis features five distinct hotels to suit every client, from the luxurious Royal at Atlantis with its iconic 10-room Bridge Suite, to the original family-friendly Beach and recently renovated Coral at Atlantis and the exclusive properties, The Cove and The Reef. The four-star Coral Towers, which has a dedicated kids’ concierge, reopened in July following a $30 million transformation. There’s always something new to see and do, and recent innovations include an infusion of Bahamian art, food and culture through a new shared vision and various activities including Junkanoo Fest & Feast. Every Friday families are invited to learn about Junkanoo - the vibrant annual carnival - from local historian Arlene Nash Ferguson. After an authentic Bahamian meal, guests enjoy a Junkanoo dance lesson and make colourful costumes.
New additions to the numerous dining
experiences, which range from casual al-fresco snack bars to fine dining at the celebrated Japanese restaurant Nobu Japanese, are Sip Sip and Fish, both located at The Cove. Sip Sip is the first outpost for Nassau restaurateur Julie Lightbourn, and showcases Bahamian dishes with a twist. José Andrés, another acclaimed chef, presides over Fish, which celebrates the culinary bounty of the sea with the freshest delicacies. For 2018, clients will benefit from three new dining plans providing a cost-effective and hassle-free way to tailor-make their dining experiences. The plans – Casual Dining, Gourmet Dining and Premium Dining – allow guests to handpick the style of cuisine they want whilst still offering a wide choice of restaurant options throughout their stay. An outdoor highlight is Dolphin Cay, the
resort’s beautiful 14-acre marine mammal habitat and state-of-the-art education centre. All-new early morning experiences include Sunrise Fitness in the peaceful dolphin lagoon and kayaking and snorkelling. With 20% early booking discounts for travel during most of 2018, valid for bookings made before October 31, 2017, there’s never been a better time to discover the magic of Atlantis.
