Uniworld introduces self-drive packages for France sailings

Uniworld has added self-drive package options to its range of 2021 cruises in France. The packages include pre-booked car parking and


offer savings of up to £500 per couple to offset the added costs of the Channel crossing and stopover accommodation. The river cruise operator said: “The self-drive


package means that guests can take the scenic route and make the journey part of their experience, while travelling in their own ‘bubble’.” Uniworld has produced an information sheet for


agents, who can build itineraries for clients using ferries or Eurotunnel. A self-drive package for a Brilliant Bordeaux cruise


on Bon Voyage starts at £1,749. It includes seven nights’ full-board accommodation, onshore activities and eight days’ car parking in Bordeaux. Clients can travel by ferry from Portsmouth to Caen and stay overnight in Caen before the 375-mile drive to Bordeaux. Optional
