2. TEA FOR TWO: Joan Pearman, of Althams Travel, Morley, Leeds, is awarded afternoon tea for two by Shearings Holidays as part of its Grand Tourer prize draw. The competition ran throughout March to celebrate the launch of the operator’s new brochure.


3. SNOW PATROL: Thirty travel agents enjoyed skiing, tubing, ice skating and ice climbing on a Sno’n’Ski Canada Mega Fam at the Big White Ski Resort in British Columbia, Canada. The resort was the first stop on the annual eight-day fam.


4. BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS: Thomas Cook travel agents Emma Spooner (centre) and Anne Pronger (right) receive a surprise visit and chocolate cake from Sandals Resorts International’s Audrey Singh ahead of the first anniversary of the launch of Sandals and Beaches Resorts’ UK tour operation, Unique Caribbean Holidays Limited, this week.


5. FIRST FLIGHT: Agents and operators travelled to Porto and the Douro Valley wine region to celebrate TAP Air Portugal’s first flight from London City to the Portuguese city. The fam trip was hosted by the airline and the Porto & Northern Portugal Tourism Board.
