Back-Roads Touring adds departures for battlefields itineraries


Back-Roads Touring has expanded its range of battlefields departure dates and added a tour to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War. The new tour, Battle of Britain,


starts with a flight over Cambridge in one of the few fully restored original Dragon Rapide aircraft. Clients can also sit in a Spitfire and climb inside an original First World War tank. The extra battlefield departure


dates are the result of an increase in demand last year. Sales manager Lockie Kerr said:
