Royal Caribbean to create first Royal Beach Club in Antigua


Antigua has been named as the location for Royal Caribbean International’s first beach club. Te Royal Beach Club will be


set along a half-mile beachfront near Fort James from 2021 and feature private cabanas and a pool with a swim-up bar. Royal said it will serve regional


food and offer live music and activities such as paddleboarding and snorkelling. Te beach club concept follows


the introduction of Royal’s first private island, Perfect Day at CocoCay, in the Bahamas. Te cruise line has signed a


memorandum of understanding with the government of Antigua and Barbuda for the project. Royal Caribbean International

Marella Cruises plans its first sailings out of the US in 2021

Marella Cruises is to sail out of the US for the first time in 2021, with four itineraries from Port Canaveral on Marella Discovery. Te programme includes 11


ports of call and, in addition to the four itineraries, a repositioning cruise. Te seven-night itineraries, which can be combined, go on sale today (November 7). New York features as an


overnight call on the American Dream and Big Apple Adventure sailings. Other ports of call on the


American Dream itinerary are Charleston, South Carolina, and Freeport, Bahamas, while the Big Apple Adventure sailings will call at Norfolk, Virginia, and Freeport.
