Funway adds Belize, Costa Rica and Dominica for 2020

Belize, Costa Rica and Dominica have made their debut in Funway Holidays’ new Caribbean & Mexico 2020 brochure. Te long-haul operator offers seven nights’ all-
inclusive at Secrets Papagayo Costa Rica from £2,550, based on two people sharing. Te price includes return direct flights from Heathrow with Delta Air Lines for a departure on March 7, 2020. Funway has also boosted its accommodation range
in existing destinations with the addition of 13 hotels, including five in Mexico. Furthermore, the brochure features new and
soon-to-open all-inclusive AMResorts, including three in Mexico: Sunscape Akumal Beach Resort & Spa, which opened last month; Now Natura Riviera Cancun, opening in January 2020; and Breathless Cancun Resort & Spa, also due to open in 2020. It also offers AMResorts’ Secrets St Martin Resort & Spa in the Caribbean, set to open in March 2020.

extremely well for us, with bookings up 10% year on year for both destinations combined. “We’ve come a long way since the launch of our
debut standalone brochure to Mexico in 2011, followed by the addition of the Caribbean in 2016.” Te new 212-page brochure is valid from January
to December 2020. Te lead-in price is £799 for seven nights in Barbados, staying at the Coconut Beach Hotel on a twin-share basis, including Virgin Atlantic flights.

Shearings heads to Windsor for August’s BBC Countryfile Live
Shearings Holidays has put on a five-day coach package including a trip to Windsor Great Park for BBC Countryfile Live 2020. Te annual show, which has
separate events in the north and south, will this year take place in the Berkshire park, having moved from Blenheim Palace. Te show, which runs from
August 20-23, celebrates the British countryside and has a live arena, hands-on activities, farm animal demonstrations and food. Te five-day package departing
August 17, 2020, costs from £309, based on two sharing. It includes coach travel from UK pick-up points, four nights’ half-board accommodation, a full day at BBC Countryfile Live in Windsor Great Park and a trip to London. Shearings also has packages for
the show’s event at Castle Howard in Yorkshire, from August 6-9.

Prestige boosts programme in Croatia and Montenegro
Prestige Holidays has expanded its range of holidays in Croatia and Montenegro for next summer. Additions in Croatia include
Rijeka, the 2020 European Capital of Culture; the island of Kolocep, near Dubrovnik; and an “environ- mentally-friendly” five-star resort. A four-night B&B break at

Gatwick in October, start from £1,650 including car hire. New options in Montenegro
include Lustica Bay, Perast, fishing village Sveti Stefan and Petrovac. Prices start at £575 for seven nights’ B&B at Hotel Huma Kotor Bay, with easyJet flights on April 23.
