Marella expands winter 2023 range for five-ship fleet

Harry Kemble

Marella Cruises has unveiled a new and expanded winter 2023 programme for what will be its five-ship fleet. The line’s fifth ship, Marella

Voyager, will launch on June 3, 2023, and start by sailing itineraries from Majorca, with ports of call including Naples and Barcelona. In the winter, Marella Voyager

will reposition to the Caribbean and offer three eight-day itineraries

– Paradise Islands; Tropical Delights; and A Taste of the Tropics – from Barbados. A new itinerary in October 2023

has also been added to Marella Discovery’s programme, featuring calls at ports in Boston, Maine and Rhode Island in the US and Saint John, Halifax and Sydney in Canada. The Tui Group line is set to

return to Asia with the introduction of Singapore as a homeport for the first time. Marella Discovery II will

The Electric Rooms

operate four itineraries from the city-state port. The 15-day Eastern Experience 1

round-trip itinerary from Singapore includes calls at Phu My, Vietnam; Langkawi, Malaysia; and Laem Chabang, Thailand. There will be nine repositioning

itineraries visiting ports in Jordan, India and Sri Lanka. All new winter sailings will be

available to book from July 21. The line has revealed the dining and entertainment venues on

952-cabin Marella Voyager, which have been designed on the back of customer feedback. New nightclub The Electric Rooms, which has an LED dancefloor and a casino, will be the first of its kind in the fleet. There will also be a Mexican

restaurant called Abuela’s that will serve lunch and dinner; Nonna’s, offering made-to-order pizza and pasta; and The Kitchens, a food hall featuring eight eateries, including a carvery and a curry house. tui.co.uk/cruise
