So…this is more of a ‘Where’s Wendy been’… I am just back from a wonderful holiday with my


19-year-old son to Alaska with Holland America Line. Last time I visited Alaska was 20 years ago with my


ex-husband, which was eventful, since nine months later my son appeared. So, I thought I would take him back to where he was made. Holland America Line is celebrating 75 Years in


Alaska this year, and boy can you see how much experience we have there. In all my 27 years with this wonderful brand, I am still amazed and humbled to be able to travel to such wonderful parts of the world in style.Koningsdam exceeded all expectations and by far overdelivered in EVERY area: food, friendly service, staterooms and enrichment opportunities. As well as seeing some incredible scenery and exploring Alaskan ports (with adventures including ziplining!), we learnt so much about wildlife (bears, whales and more) and indigenous cultures . . . I certainly won’t be waiting another 20 years to return there. Talking of which, we are thrilled with the
