The platform will include full servicing prior to ticketing for agents who offer clients a delay between booking and ticketing. This will allow agents to change dates and times for held bookings.

Jet2 offers flights to 33 destinations from Glasgow next year
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have put more than one million seats to 33 destinations from Glasgow airport on sale for summer 2021. The airline is already selling its
summer 2021 programme from Edinburgh, so it now has almost two million seats on sale to 39 destinations from its Scottish bases. Spanish islands served by both
airports include Majorca, Ibiza, Menorca, Tenerife, Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria. Seven destinations in Greece,
plus Dalaman, Antalya, Bodrum and Izmir, all in Turkey, are also on offer from both airports. Other destinations include
Portugal, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Croatia, Malta and Italy.

Las Vegas to host 66 agents at Camp Vegas training event

The Las Vegas tourist board is to host 66 travel agents and tour operator product managers at an American summer camp-style sales training event. The Camp Vegas weekend at Center Parcs in
Woburn Forest, Bedfordshire, is a new concept devised by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority’s UK representatives Hills Balfour. Leading UK operators to Las Vegas have been invited
and they will choose agents to join them at the April 24- 26 events. Five wildcard places are also up for grabs. Agents will take part in a series of outdoor activities
such as archery and rope climbing, while learning facts about the 10 Las Vegas partners attending the event. They will also have the chance to win one of five
holidays for two to Las Vegas including flights provided by partner airline Virgin Atlantic. Camp Vegas was the brainchild of Alex Perez, Hills
Manchester gains Virgin Atlantic
service to Delhi from October Virgin Atlantic is to start flying to Indian capital Delhi from Manchester airport next winter. The three-times- a-week seasonal service on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays will start on October 26 on an Airbus A330-200. Fares start from £535 return. Virgin Atlantic is also increasing the frequency of its existing routes from Manchester to Barbados and Heathrow to Havana.
