A&K Sanctuary is the new name for Sanctuary Retreats
AKTG rebrands safari lodge and riverboat arm as A&K Sanctuary
A&K Travel Group (AKTG) has rebranded its safari lodge and riverboat arm Sanctuary Retreats as A&K Sanctuary. The group said the new name, which has been rolled out across signage, marketing
materials, staff uniforms and in-room amenities, “leveraged the strong reputation and global recognition of the A&K brand”. New property logos have also been introduced to reflect the “unique” location of each asset. AKTG chief executive Cristina Levis said: “We are thrilled to introduce A&K
Sanctuary to the world, complete with a revitalised brand identity, an industry-leading website, and a digital world that complements the award-winning product and service, alongside ambitious plans for global expansion.” A&K Sanctuary currently owns and operates 12 luxury safari camps and lodges
across eastern and southern Africa as well as four riverboats in Egypt. This summer, the brand will introduce a luxury riverboat in Peru, followed by a
new property, Kitirua Plains Lodge in Kenya’s Amboseli National Park, in early 2026.

InsideAsia adds South Korea tour
InsideAsia is offering its first small-group tour of South Korea after delaying the launch due to political events in the country. The 10-day Soul of Korea itinerary will run four times this year and is
billed as the “ultimate introduction” to South Korea, with visits to Seoul, Busan, Jeonju and Gyeongju. The operator reports “huge growth”
for the destination, added in 2022.
