Ikos plans first Crete property and revamps maiden hotel Ikos Olivia


Ikos Resorts has confirmed plans for its first property in Crete with Ikos Kissamos set to open in spring 2026. The property will be the brand’s first all-suite resort and will be set on a beach 25 minutes from Chania airport. The brand will mark its 10th anniversary this year with a range of improvements


and developments across its existing seven properties. Enhancements include a revamp of maiden hotel Ikos Olivia. The Halkidiki


property will reopen in April with refurbished rooms and suites, new restaurants and bars, and a new garden entrance. There will also be more Deluxe Collection suites added as the brand expands this category at Ikos Olivia and Ikos Odisia in Corfu. Elsewhere in Corfu, Ikos Dassia has welcomed new restaurant and wine bar


Enoteca, which will serve French-inspired dishes and wines from around the world. Further additions include wellness space Hippocrates Garden of Life at Ikos Aria

Luxury operator Elegant Resorts has revealed a new brand look alongside a campaign titled ‘It’s in the Detail’. AE Expeditions will host 150 British and Irish agents on its ships throughout 2025. The small-ship expedition cruise line will choose 24 agents to join three Arctic and Antarctica fam trips this year. Eight agents will be hosted on each voyage, with Antarctic trips taking place in March and November and an Arctic voyage in July. AE Expeditions is also planning two ship visits in Scotland, which will include lectures, lunch, dinner and overnight stays on Greg Mortimer.
