The secret of the products’ sustainability lies in their method of manufacture. This involves the fusing of a thin sheet of real wood veneer with a Compositek™

core through a powder mix layer. The powder mix completely fills the natural gaps within the wood, while also enhancing the wood’s appearance. It eliminates the need for a wood-filler and creates a significantly stronger surface with a hardness three times greater than a traditional solid wood floor – more
solid than a plank! It also means ten times more flooring can be produced from the same amount of timber, compared to traditional engineered wood flooring and 30 times more flooring compared to solid wood flooring. Furthermore,

A successful participation in Clerkenwell
Design Week in May led to further interest in the Bjelin product ranges, which are now expanded with a number of new sizes launched during the year. These now range from XXL at 271 mm x 2,378 mm down to S at 151 mm x 1,170 mm.
