Pendock’s art of concealment S

ince it was formed in 1987, the Pendock name has gradually become regarded as a byword for high quality decorative casing and enclosure solutions for concealing structural

which helps improve a project’s aesthetics and in many cases, also provide protection. While all Pendock products are relevant to architects, specifi ers and contractors, the most commonly specifi ed are those within its Linea building lining and Radius column casing ranges.

Linea building linings

The extensive Pendock Linea building linings range comprises nine different architectural fi nishing products. In addition to wall linings, ceiling rafts, and lift reveals and soffi t linings, the range also encompasses bulkheads and fascias, as well as parapet capping and pilasters and perimeter casings. Specialised roofl ight linings & atrium beam casings complete the range.

Each provides a practical and aesthetic solution for specifi c applications, while also retaining a high degree of versatility,

as

every Linea product is bespoke manufactured to the dimensions and specifi cations of individual projects.

The Linea range allows architects to specify several lining elements within a project from a single source, as opposed to these items being unlisted or ‘fl oating’ within various sections of a specifi cation document. By using this approach, a high degree of consistency to be achieved across different aspects of a project, as the elements can be manufactured, supplied and installed, if required, manufacturer.

site and allows a uniform, high-quality fi nish to be achieved.

Radius column casings Column casings are a widely used and highly versatile method of concealing interior and exterior structural steelwork.

Pendock’s reduce risk,

Radius brand unites the company’s six individual column casing types to make specifi cation simpler while also identifying the key differences between each option. The pre-formed plywood range is purely for interior use and is available as circular or square profi le casings, as well as extended circles or rectangular shapes. Although they are available unfi nished for on-site painting, most are specifi ed pre-fi nished with high pressure laminates (HPL) which provides increased durability and a very wide choice of fi nishes.

Glass reinforced gypsum (GRG) casings are also for interior use only and are regularly specifi ed as circles, yet, as they are produced from moulds, GRG casings can also be manufactured to bespoke shapes and dimensions to meet the needs of specifi c projects. Pendock’s GRP casings are also produced from moulds, which enables them to be bespoke manufactured to meet individual project specifi cations. However, they can be specifi ed for use on both interior and exterior applications. Their durability and weather resistance also makes them well suited for high traffi c areas, such as public buildings and retail.

The versatile metal column casing range is also designed for interior and exterior projects. As they are manufactured from aluminium or stainless-steel, they are weather resistant, highly durable and can be specifi ed in a wide range of standard and bespoke shapes with fi nish options including RAL, BS colour PPC fi nishes as well as anodised, brushed, polished and textured.
