Polyroof launches PRX range for profi led metal roof refurbishment
Polyroof, a brand of Roberts Group, has launched the PRX Range – two distinct solutions developed specifi cally for refurbishment of pitched profi led metal roof sheets. Designed to address the varied challenges associated with ageing metal roof sheets, the PRX range provides building owners and specifi ers with clearly defi ned options depending on whether a project requires waterproofi ng, thermally upgrading, or a protective refurbishment. Unlike traditional strip-and-replace methods, both solutions are engineered to extend the lifespan of metal roofs, minimise disruption, and support more sustainable refurbishment strategies. The PRX range comprises two systems: PRX Enhance – a complete waterproofi ng system incorporating a thermal upgrade for enhanced energy effi ciency; and PRX Restore – a protective coating for long-term sheet protection. Each system has been developed to solve different problems commonly associated with profi led metal roof sheets. For further information about the Polyroof PRX Range or to discuss a profi led metal roofi ng project, contact the Polyroof team today.

bit.ly/4xnwreW# Health and productivity with Brett Martin
Brett Martin’s CST Heatguard has been installed for the roof of a milking shed at Bloor’s Farm in Warrington, Cheshire. Chosen by one of the farm’s owners, the innovative roofi ng solution, with advanced heat refl ective pigment, has helped to introduce improved
levels of light, while reducing energy costs and enhancing the cows’ welfare and productivity. The amount of daylight introduced by the Brett Martin solution not only improved light levels in the refurbished and repurposed shed, but to the surrounding sheds as well, making a truly positive impact across the farm.

Vectaire keeps wet rooms free of condensation, odours and mould
It’s that time of year again – trying to keep condensation at bay. Vectaire’s products ensure optimal air quality, low noise levels, and reduced running costs. They are designed to meet the needs of modern homes while prioritizing energy effi ciency and environmental sustainability. New to Vectaire’s ventilation range is the MFCF100. This dMEV provides low level, continuous ventilation to control condensation. Its integral sensor recognises changes in system pressure and ensures the chosen airfl ow in maintained. It has a choice of six trickle airfl ows (from 5 l/sec to 20 l/sec) to cater for all installation situations, and a boost speed which will either kick in automatically or manually by the user. Models are available with timer and/or humidistat. They are all IPX4 rated, but for special installations, SELV models are also available. These fans are easy to fi t (into walls or windows with an optional window kit) and easy to maintain. They are quiet, energy saving ventilation which will help keep homes free of condensation, odours and mould.
