Puzzler – Crazy Charlie’s Chocolate Shop
Crazy Charlie’s Chocolate Shop is holding a design competition to launch their brand new Crazy Shapes chocolates. To be in with a chance of winning, you must create an interesting 3-D prototype. You must:
a) Choose a 3-D shape for your packaging. b) Draw the net of the packaging (or fi nd a suitable net template).
c) Colour the packaging in bright colours and create a brand name for your Crazy Shape chocolates.
d) Stick the net of your chosen shape together.
e) Create a card to accompany your 3-D shape with the following information about your chosen shape: name of the shape, number of edges, vertices and faces.
f) Give a reason on your card why you think this 3-D shape would be suitable for the new Crazy Shapes chocolates.
You may present your fi nished product to the class.
