Instructions for Drawing a Square Using a Set Square 1. Have a set square, ruler and copy (gridded sheet) ready. 2. Using your ruler, measure and draw your fi rst line at 6cm.
3. Now place your set square on your straight line so the corner of the set square is at the end of the measured line.
4. Hold your set square in place and draw another line of 6cm. 5. Use the other side of the set square to draw another line of 6cm. 6. Using your ruler, check that all sides are 6cm.
7. If all sides are the correct length, use your set square to complete the remaining side of the square.
