Carols at Christmas Who doesn’t love a festive tune! The BRNC Concert Band will be performing its Christmas Crackers ‘singalong’ concert at the Flavel on 7 December whilst on the same night Britannia Choral Society will be at St Saviour’s Church with their Christmas Concert. “Here we come A-wassailing..” The ancient tradition of wassailing returns to our orchards in January. ‘Tis the time to soak your toast in cider, grab your pans and bless the fruit trees to encourage new growth and a good harvest next season. It’s behind you! Yes it’s that season again and there are plenty of dames and dastardly characters on stage to keep every- one amused. You could head for the big names at Torquay’s Princess Theatre in Jack and the Beanstalk (
