A full month after publication, Hannah’s latest offering has now sold 52,960 copies in paperback – 40.4% more than the hardback has achieved in its lifetime. It is a performance that puts it in third place on Hannah’s list of 25 novels – beaten only by The Nightingale and The Four Winds. Despite her long backlist, Hannah’s five most popular titles account for 77% of her total lifetime sales, suggesting recent converts are yet to discover the author’s previous offerings.
