Dilly Court A Loving Family Arrow, £9.99, 9781787469747 Since 2005, Dilly Court has written more than 50 novels – including those under pen name Lily Baxter – with her latest selling 7,827 copies in its first week. That is not just a drop in the ocean of Court’s total sales – 4,550,668 books sold have brought in nearly £20m – but also a drop on January’s Poppy’s Choice, the eighth in the Rockwood Chronicles, which sold 10,413 copies in its first week. The veteran author’s last standalone, October 2024’s The Snow Angel, shifted 13,093 units at launch, 67.3% more than her latest offering.
