The new HFP 5O41 WLG X UK dishwasher by Hotpoint has ActiveDry technology, where the door of the machine opens automatically by up to 100mm at the end of the cycle so that dishes can air dry. According to Hotpoint, this gives 60% better drying results and reduces energy consumption by 20%. 3D wash technology that jets in different positions to increase cleaning power of the appliance. INDESIT | Push&Go
Push&Go is the new series of induction hobs from Indesit. The range offers three automated functions at the touch of one button, intended to make household chores easier – these are Push&Boil, Push&Warm and Push&Moka, which is said to set the ideal temperature for a moka coffee. WESTIN | Edge
Westin’s new Edge technology is available on three of its cooker hood models, the Cache, Stratus, and Martelli. The introduction of the Edge baseplate is said to offer a new way of moving air more efficiently throughout the kitchen. Westin says that Edge uses the air’s natural path and moves it diagonally into the hood in a curve through its vaulted sides, which reduces noise but increases extraction power. Tel: 01484 421585

Smeg has expanded its Victoria range cooker collection with the addition of 900mm and 1,000mm models in slate grey. Gas or induction options are also available. The cookers have multiple cooking functions in both the main and auxiliary ovens, a separate grill compartment and a handy storage drawer. FALMEC | Skema
The new Skema ceiling hood from Falmec has a slim design. The hood is split into three, the two outside sections feature an LED light and the centre metal panel has the concealed extraction area. The light can be adjusted from warm light to cool. The Skema, like other Falmec ceiling hoods, can be used for both extraction and recirculation.
