A look at what’s new in the hub of the modern home Compiled by: Vicki Evans

SYMPHONY | Urban

Symphony has expanded its Urban range with the addition of a new colour, Indigo. This will be available in the Gallery and Milano kitchen collections. Indigo can be used as a statement for the whole of the kitchen or as an accent in contrast with other colours in the range like Concrete, White, Cobble Grey, Grey Walnut and Pebble. The kitchen matches the latest Symphony copper or bronze handle options. Tel: 01226 446000 www.symphony-group.co.uk

DEVA BY METHVEN | New taps

Deva by Methven has expanded its range of kitchen taps with four new styles. Camden, which is pictured, has an angular spout and design. Indi has a smooth, rounded appearance with a single mixer control. Brixton is a curved tap but with a distinctive flat look. Nelson is round with classical elements like the dual temperature controls. All of the taps come with a 12-year guarantee and are Wras-approved. Tel: 0800 195 1602 www.deva-uk.com

VILLEROY AND BOCH | Meran

The new Meran collection from Villeroy and Boch is offering a mix of 23 neutral and vibrant colourways. The carcasses are produced with Villeroy and Boch’s water-resistant “Eco-Pro” technology and have laser edges. Design features also include premium 8mm glass shelves with reinforced profiles. The kitchens are bespoke with a choice of tailor-made cabinetry and standard unit configurations. Tel: 01922 698000 www.euromobel.co.uk

BLANCO | Unit

The Blanco Unit combines sinks, taps, in-cabinet waste and organisation into one system. The Unit can be made from a variety of combinations using different sinks and taps, from the brand’s portfolio, to create a multifunctional space. The new design has been developed to help with meal preparation as food can be chopped in the sink, then washed and the scraps can be put in the bin just underneath. ABODE | Denton

Denton is a new undermount sink from Abode. The grey metallic granite model measures just 500mm long x 363mm wide and 198mm deep, making it ideal for compact spaces. It is said to be durable with a high temperature resistance of 280°C and a 10-year warranty. Designed with industrial-style, contemporary kitchens in mind, it features an easy- empty orbit waste and fold-back basket. Tel: 01226 283434 www.abode.eu

SCHÜLLER AND NEXT125 | Optimus

Rethinking the kitchen from the inside out was the basis behind the new Optimus drawer system from German manufacturer Schüller. Designed in collaboration with Blum, the Optimus system is available across the Schüller and next125 collections. Despite its streamlined, 15mm narrow frame, the system offers a load capacity of 40-70kg – depending on the drawer or pull-out selected. Tel: 01661 842304 www.inhouseltd.co.uk
