SHOW REVIEW | Hausmesse

Häcker

Häcker had a wide variety of new kitchens and collections on show. While opening its doors to invited guests, Häcker also created many videos and a full 360-degree tour online for anyone not able to visit in person. Classic had seven new door fronts in monochrome shades with a mixture of white, grey, graphite and black in a choice of finishes, including satin and matt. Systemat 3.0 had the largest release with 48 new doors and a new colour family. The doors were offered in a wide variety of shades including two dark wood- like options, to marbles, modern satin finishes and a bold copper. Häcker was also showing its ‘side concept’, where the visible cabinet sides can now be colour-matched to the door fronts. There are currently only seven colour matches in matt and six in high gloss, but the Systemat 3.0 range now offers 190 RAL colours for designers to meet clients’ specific needs. Also new was PerfectSense, available in matt or glossy, with antibacterial, anti-finger- print, heat- steam- and UV-resistant properties.

Rotpunkt

Sustainability was at the heart of Rotpunkt’s open house exhibition this year, with the launch of its new Greenline environmentally-friendly boards.

The BioBoard Gen2 is made with 90% re cycled wood and the line comes in 15 colours.

Rotpunkt also

launched seven new kitchen designs. They ranged from dark super-matt designs to soft lacquered doors to real-wood kitchens. Designs, it says, are based on current living trends, such as working from home, with a new option that has an island flowing on to a dining table.

As well as the new kitchen designs,

there were a range of new carcass colours and door handle variations, shelves with metal fronts, black shelf supports, luxury glass shelves and Qi wireless charging stations. Glass was an important feature on several new cupboard and drawer designs, like the new glass cabinets and a drawer basket with glass sides.

Nolte

The collections on display at Nolte Küchen were reinterpretations of its current kitchens, but with new features, taking on-board retailer requests and feedback to create these new designs. Chief executive Eckhard Wefing says that the

current trends that Nolte is offering are intended to grab a customer’s attention.

One of the main attractions of the open house was the bathroom collection. This was the first time this range was displayed at a Küchenmeile event. Nolte Spa is a new product area for the company and comes in response to demand from designers, who want to source kitchen and bathroom cabinetry from a single supplier. In terms of new products, there were two new door decors in the Manhattan range. Volcanic Oak is a warm shade of brown and Oak Graphite Silver is a new grey. These are variations on previous shades. Lucca carries on the ever-growing industrial trend with new cement colours, such as anthracite, agate grey and sapphire grey.
