Did the children enjoy using the product?

The children absolutely loved using the panels. They helped to unpack it and were very excited to investigate and see what had been sent to them. Some children said it looked like a small slide! Once we started to explore what it was and talk to the children about what we had received, it ignited their curiosity further!

How did the children use the product?

The children decided that they wanted to take the toy into the garden, as this is their favourite place – we spend lots of time outdoors in our forest school. Children said they wanted to go and choose some things from the forest to use on their new ‘slides’, so we went on a nature hunt to collect conkers. We had expected the children to want to roll balls down it, but followed their lead on using natural materials. It was great to see the children making their own suggestions and telling staff how they would like to use the product, and what they thought they could do with it. Even in the days after its first usage, children are still talking about the product and suggesting they could race their cars down the ramp, too.

Do you think the product offers good value for money?

We do feel the product offers good value for money. Being an open-ended resource, there are many opportunities and possibilities to use this product in a wide range of ways. The material appears durable and should withstand the test of time, even with our youngest children.
