We're thrilled to have been working with Giggles Day Nursery in Leeds and St Joseph's Primary and Nursery School in Pontefract, who have been busy testing some products from our new early years range.
Here's what they had to say… The resource...
820809 the Hex Wrench and Nut Driver Panels £44.99
Giggles Day Nursery Did the children enjoy using the product?
"The children showed great interest in this and were very excited to have a turn. They all watched with interest as the practitioner showed them what to do. They all worked together to help each other. The children all had a turn using the different tools to put the screws in the board. Some found this easy, others
more difficult." How did the children use the product?
"Some children found it quicker and easier to use their fingers to manipulate the pieces into the holes. They found the alan key hard to position. Once the teacher put this in place, they were then able to turn the key around. The boys managed this activity really well and were interested for a long time. All the children who played with it used it as a tool board. "

What do YOU think? Reviewed by YOU!
Do you think the product offered good value for money?
"The product was very well made and very sturdy. It was just the right size for small hands. The tools were small enough for the children to hold with ease. It would have been nice if the board and accessories
came with a bag to store the pieces in safely. "
Would you recommend the product to other nurseries?
"Yes, we would. Our pre-school children all worked well together to help each other and it was a great fine motor skills activity. We feel that it will help the children's concentration development and promote mathematical skills. It also helped to develop their personal and social development as they communicated and supported each other if their peer
found the activity challenging." What would you mark the product out of 10? "9/10"
