As we become more aware of our impact on the environment, we begin to make a  from sustainable resources. The choice of products available is growing but are they robust enough to withstand the test of time of continuous play from little hands?


We’re delighted to work with two nurseries who put some of our new sustainable resources to the test, here’s how they got on…


Would you recommend the product to other nurseries?  more mindful of our impact on the environment and have been introducing lots of natural resources and toys that are made from sustainable products rather  


Twinkles Nursery, Wetherby


How would you rate the product out of 10? We would rate this product 10/10 – It gets full marks from Twinkles!


What activities did you use the product for? The babies used their trucks out in the garden, pushing them along the grass and sending them down the slide, they also used them indoors in the sand pit, transporting sand to every corner of the room! The toddlers used the trucks in a very muddy building site and the pre-school children took them outside into a  washed them and used them to gather pebbles. We also used them as an introduction to recycling and taking care of the environment, the children then used the trucks to collect up various items from the nursery and took them outside to our external recycling bins!!


Did the children enjoy using the product? We absolutely love the sugar cane trucks! They appealed to all of our children, from babies, to toddlers to the pre-school children. They were chunky and well made and the sturdiness meant that our babies could push them around easily both inside and outside. They stood up to quite a lot of use and still looked like  well with our natural nursery.
