This edition is themed around cross-curricular learning. An area of increasing interest and topic of discussion for primary education, we’ve included a mix of content in this edition for you.
We have insight and inspiration from specialists Susan Coles (art, craft and design) and Hester Binge (science), on how these subjects can support a cross-curricular approach. See pages 6-7 and 12-13.
This edition, our ‘Diary of a head teacher’ is by Helen Green from Upton Primary School, who discusses cross-curricular learning in her school, you’ll find this on page 8.
It’s the final part of our ‘Time management tips’ from John Harrison (pages 16-17), which may be particularly useful with the new term having just begun and all the demands you will no doubt have on you.
Don’t miss our fantastic competition on the back page, to win a cross-curricular bundle of products worth almost £200!
We hope you enjoy the magazine! Our next edition will be out in January.
