Safe and secure self-service drinking water

UK designer and manufacturer of drinking water systems, Borg & Overström, said: “Providing drinking water in a safe and secure way can often present challenges. Jugs need to be refilled, patients have to ask for water, and incoming water pipes harbour bacteria, as can traditional water coolers. Enabling self-service, filtered drinking water within mental healthcare environments allows for patient autonomy, while fitting an integrated tap removes the need for plastic jugs, spillages, and stale tap water. With infection control measures built into the design, safe and hygienic water access benefits staff and service-users alike.
