need to be able to talk about their feelings and concerns in a safe environment. We are all human beings, and working in hospital theatres is a challenging job,” says Oliver. He explains that he first became involved

with AfPP many years ago, when, as an ODP, he experienced first-hand how supportive the Association is: “AfPP has always been a huge support to me and my colleagues throughout my career in healthcare, and we simply would not have achieved the success with The Walton Surgical Assistant Project, for instance, without the help and guidance of AfPP. “As a member, I soon realised that I wanted to become more involved with AfPP and the next time a trustee role was advertised, I applied and was successful in joining the board. zone, and take a leap of faith sometimes.” “I have hit the ground running as the new AfPP

President, and I am so looking forward to the next two years!” he concludes.

We believe that our people and our planet should not be harmed because of what we do

CMR continues to work within the supply chain to develop symbiotic working partnerships to develop products and services that minimise the negative impact on both local and global environments. An example of this is the construction of CMR’s new manufacturing facility, incorporating science-based carbon reduction systems that include improved building insulation, photovoltaic (PV) panels, and air sourced ventilation as well as harvesting of rainwater to irrigate our biodiverse soft landscaping areas and grey water systems, lessening the impact of the facility on the environment.
