K2025 – MACHINERY | EXHIBITION PREVIEW

ent quality and repeatable performance. Each process step is designed to optimize the transformation of plastics, even in their most contaminated and complex forms, into materials that are useful, sustainable and efficient again. CMG’s EV Evolution

Series granulation systems have been engineered specifically for post-consum- er plastics. Each model is optimized to reduce energy utilization by up to 50% compared to conventional granulators, achieved through advanced cutting geometries, unique rotor design, and intelligent drive systems. This year’s high- light at K2025 is the global debut of the EV 92-220 model, which CMG claims is the largest and most powerful granulator ever introduced in the industry and is designed for heavy- duty applications and massive volume streams. CMG is introducing a new

range of evacuation, dedusting and powder containment system solu- tions. The Regrind Evac Systems start at a capacity of 200 kg/h and, through a selection of 10 different sizes, reaches top capacity of 7,000 kg/h. All new system solutions supplied by CMG will be equipped with the new Evac Systems, which are also offered as upgrade kits for retrofitting to granulators. The company’s other

products at K2025 include: the new G55 granulator line for high-capacity applica- tions, starting from 700 kg/h all the way up to 1,300 kg/h; the new GT series for in-line scrap recycling, suitable for sheet, skeletal sheet and

be on Herbold Mecke- sheim’s technologies for mechanical processing of plastics waste. On display will be the new T 150-300 Mechanical Dryer and the SMS 80-200 Granulator. The high-capacity dryer can achieve throughputs of up to 2.5 tonnes/hr of film or more than 10 tonnes/hr of PET or rigid flakes. The dryer features a fully redesigned construction, including a

tor, designed for demanding recycling processes, inte- grates energy-efficient double cross-cutting action and pre-adjustable rotor and bed knives to produce a high-quality regrind with

rotating sieve basket with integrated water spray nozzles for full-coverage cleaning and a centrifugal drying chamber for rapid moisture removal. The SMS 80-200 Granula-
